The study course of Bioprocess Engineering at the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg is based on a solid education in engineering and natural sciences during the graduate study. The main study period is geared to the needs of the labour market and the students' fields of interest by offering a good selection of subject combinations.
The cornerstones of the main study periods are:
- Technical Chemistry
- Process Engineering
- Biotechnology
By combining of two focal points, each of the students will be enabled
to choose a training in Chemical Process Engineering, Biotechnology
including Purification Techniques and Bioprocess Engineering with
the focus on Biotechnical Apparatus Design later on.
A bunch of supplementary subjects offer the students the possibility of choosing their own study profile.
